The project this month was to write a short story a day. The stories began with a title, randomly created by myself, the original purpose of the titles being a source of "book cover drawings" at some undetermined month this year. As I decided to write the stories, I thought I would draw the story covers in August, as it had the same number of days as July but August proved to be too busy to do any project at all.
Getting back to the stories, these were written everyday with no particular plot in mind. Some do not really have much of a plot and others have rushed endings. However, I'm proud of the fact that I was able to write a total of 31 stories off the top of my head with nothing to start with but a title and a list of names, also very fun to randomly create as I sat watching baseball games. My goal was to have each story be at least 1000 words, most are in the general area of that. The longest is 2304 words, the shortest is 50 words.
Enjoy!
